Sweet Sixteen

Sweet Sixteen

Black hair and black eye's,
Nobody knows why she cries.

The music screams emo songs,
Nobody knows for what she longs.

In her mind she swims a sea of dread,
Nobody notices her alive or dead.

All her life she was left unseen,
Nobody misses the sweet sixteen.

Author notes

This poem is written about a sixteen year old girl, she is the girl your sisters and daughters go to school with.

She looks dark and seperated but inside she is dying.

Go make friends with her.

Its so sad that when the young people take on the character of the times they so often want to be excepted no matter what . Only often it brings the wrong atention to them and thus leaves them on the outside . Never judge the person by what they wear be the ind person to them as you are to any other student and in the process they will slowely blend back into society but being strong minded they will not be forced into changing . We all had our fads of the day but never let them not know love along the way .
