A Feather

Walking through a land of bold greens
Dull browns
I come across a feather
Tiny
Almost nonexistent
Bordered by crystals
Of sun baked sand
I stared
I pondered
What bird may have left it there?
I gaze at the stunning blue sky
The lush treetops
No such bird flew by

Tell me what you think
