I brush my fingers across your lips
time gives pause and the world disappears
I breath in your scent and our night of passion
all the while your heartbeat plays a soft melody against my chest
The taste of you still fresh in my mind
I close my eyes and embrace your love
swimming in the memory of this perfect moment
I drift off to sleep with the peace of the content

I rewrote a previous poem I had submitted and put a little melody to it and sang it to my girlfriend for valentines. My future sister in-law was levied because all she got was a teddy bear from Wal-Mart.
