Please, just do it one more time-
I need to hear your voice
even though your promises will fall through
like autumn mist through morning rain
let me hear your sweet voice again
I can already feel the pain in my heart
you have driven a spike in already-
but give my poor heart a moment's respite
and speak to me in gilded silver words
that hold no meaning
I would kiss your lips
and hang upon each word
though it kill me-
I need strength
you lend me a false prop-
a knife that promises to collapse
but drives itself into my soul-
burning, stabbing, twisting
phoenix rises
with the morning sun
it kisses the sheets beside me
empty again-
drown me in the false promises
and keep me forever in sorrow-
you bind me forever with your voice-
so lie to me again
and I will bear it for another day

Wow, this really sounds like something I'd write so I can relate. Nice flow also. Sorry I can't post a longer comment but I've promised to comment every entry and I have about 50 and its increasing currently. But Good LUCK!
