Like the love I feel deep within my heart,
you have teased me, leaving me with no start.
Gold is offered as treasures you do hide.
I am left here to wonder what and why?
Valentine's Day has come and gone once more,
yet, I still stand here on the lonely shore.
Are you taunting me with this gift you give?
Do you think that Cupid should never live?
Oh! Kevin! Dear Kevin! Why hurt me so?
Don't you know, All Poetry's where I go?
Please, for the sake of woman and mankind,
give me a link to post that I can find.
Should you leave me out here in the wet cold,
I shall think your voice spoke of lies foretold.

i have tried to find the link to enter a poem in this advertised contest several times. i can not find the link so, i left this as a comment to kevin and thought it was cute. if not, i may be in trouble.
