Cornered - Gold

Woman
In making
Sole heir, withdrawn
Alienated
Another broken heart
Bent into sharp shoulder blades
Cornered homelessness of heartbeat
Slowly drowning herself in sorrow
Friendless in her aloneness, growing hard.

i have met so many young women, in the making. These chilren who are set for life's sorrows from a very early age. What is so beautiful about it is that love, good love, can easily turn them around. They ask for little and give so much in return.

It is the one form I use often. I like the conciseness it offers and demands. Thank you for your visit and kind comments.
