Standing still, sillhouette
Against the darkening sky
Blackened wings spread wide
Ready to soar and fly.
Launch myself from the building
Freefalling toward the ground
Catch myself at last moment
Spin quickly around.
Haunt the streets as night falls
Stick in the shadows deep
Move from house to house
As human's souls I reap.
See this destructive path
I leave carnage in my wake
Moving, following, where you go
More and more lives I take.
Why do you run?
You flee in terror from me
Still I chase you each day
It's all for you you see.
All these people hurt you
They cut you to the core
You leave them, sad and broken,
So I kill some more.
Drink their heart's blood
To prolong my life
Everywhere I go they fall
Filled with despair and strife.
Till I draw my last breath
I will haunt your all your days
For this is how much
I love you - forever, always.
