Where.. where have you gone
I'm so alone
Tears.. tears fall from my face
Oh so cold
In the distance there's a silhouette
Fading yet to return
This disease is here to stay
Clinching tight on my core
Never to let go
Till my dying day
This Cherished Black Rose
Tattooed to this decaying heart
Darkness returns as the silhouette draws near
The last petal falls as all hope leaves
Cherished Black Rose fades
This disease is here to stay
Searching for the weakness
In the distance the silhouette fades

Now, I am sure you meant 'petal' and not 'pedal', but that could just be me. Other than that, I found this piece delightfully morbid, yet with a light and frothy outer appearence. Beautiful imagery and rhythm, and awesome form. Wonderful write, keep it up!

so dark and painful and yet so beautiful. Darkness can be a great motivator. Very well written.
