As I watch the world fall
To dust to the ground
And I still stand
Watching the chaos ensue
Nothing for me here again
Just the ragged remains
Of civilization once alive
Walking through this rubble
Breathing in the ash
Lungs burning the fires
Heart heavy and dense
My corpse to collapse
All alone in this place
Screaming for this to end
I see the dead of this place
Piled high cowardising
Mothers left their children
Fathers leaving families behind
Reminds me of a day just like today
When I see all these bodies
Piled high cowardising
Please tell me what you think

I really appreciate your comment. Most people on this site post comments, but don't know the first thing of messages. If you would like, I could check out your poems, and you could check out some of mine. I mean, if you liked the message provided in this poem, then you'd appreciate that in all of my poetry done in the last year or so has a message of society and goverment and the like.
