I wrote you letters, you did not respond
I called you, but you did not return my calls
I tried to talk to you, but you wouldn’t listen
She wanted to move in with us so we moved for her
We are still here, but neither of you are with us
There are truths you do not know
There are things I need to say
There are lies I need to tell the truth too
You still don’t want anything to do with me
You both still hate me
But I will wait longer
I have been here all along
I will continue to be here
I will continue to have patience
I will continue to love you both
I will always hold you close in my mind and heart.
I love you and miss you both now and forever.

thank you so much for the wonderful comments. It is always a wonderful feeling to see that others are reading my writing. However, I just wanted to let you know that this really wasn't a poem. It is actually a "letter" for my children. But thank you again for commenting on this. I will have to read some of your work as well. Thank you.
