A Matter Of Perspective

Light reflections colour sunset, casting
enchanting shimmer shadows, night cap light.
Light darkling sprays now, now strays out of sight,
elusive dance advancing, fast contrasting,
leaves measured time behind, mocks tight forecasting.
Tints overprint imagination bright
as Nature's way of reaching through insight,
attracts within a vortex spin outlasting
leisure looks, taps latent springs, sees Past’s sting
engulfed in night-tide’s swing swirl, sings delight.
No frontiers stand between joy's tears, soul's flight,

and wonder as sight spans light - all surpassing.
Let life through stillness still more life gestate,
anon this pattern paints a second state...

  • I rather like it, although for my eyes, the orange print on this background was a bit tough. None the less, I appreciate the thoughts expressed here.

you did a great job keeping the skeleton of the poem lively. i've never read anything like this, good job.

Liked the alliteration in these lines, the thoughts you share and the unique way you have written this - really with good rhythm, rhyme and message given. How right you are - it is a matter of persective.

Once again you have amazing style and imagery going through this poem. I love your work because within it you capture beauty and truth and all kinds of imagery and imagination! Nicely done with this one as well!

    Oh yes

In thought through a reverse silence one does see the true meaning of life once re entered for we do not see what has been right in front of us unless it is gone or destroyed. We have the power to see it yet we have let our minds go to mush from pure greed and never knowing  what true need or want is anymore .
