Hearts

See me not for my surface
For that is all you ever did
And I'm tired of looking at lies

I've broken all my masks for you
But you still don't see my face
And you'll never wake up from the deceipt

That is your own eyes
That is your own clouded mind
That is your cold and twisted heart

And yes, my heart looks twisted too
As half of it has just returned
Then is given once again

Please tell me what you think

I'm not sure if I like the poem or if I like what it is saying more. But very well written and very easy to understand. The last bit especially is easy to relate to "As half of it has just returned
Then is given once again "

good write. I will have to look through the rest of your writes some other time as it is very late here now, but I am eager to read more.

Thank you also for taking the time to read and comment on my poem it is much appreciated
