Secret Admirer

He watches like a hawk,
always watching.
He liked the way she moved,
the way she walked.

She sings to herself in the shower,
everyday at 5:30,
right after she gets home,
locks both locks.

Had dinner with some dirtbag.
He doesn't deserve her.
If I can't have her,
no one can.

Confession of love,
goes wrong.
She keeps screaming,
and he has to hit her.

Regaining control,
she is secured in a comfortable spot.
He shows her how much he cares,
how much he knows about her.

She says mean things,
calls him a creep.
Screams for help,
but can't be heard.

In his anger,
he wraps his hands around her throat.
Only intending to get her back in line,
he took her last breath.

With a sigh,
he looks on his beloved.
He removes her clothes and says,
"Now I can have you, always."

Well it's a good write but wow thats dark. I had a stalker for many years and this gave me goose bumps. Thank God he never got me alone. This is really scary yet I loved it.

Intensely creepy and you did a very good job making sure the poem wasn't overblown like a lot of people tend to do when writing subjects like this. I also like the name "Secret Admirer" It puts an extra perverse twist on this guy. You think at first maybe he's just shy and doesn't have the guts to ask out some girl he likes. Very well written.

    Yeahhh

WOW. This is great. Disturbing as hell, but awesome. I was praying that someone would take that title and make a stalker poem of it. I am glad that you did. And that it was worth reading. Thanks for sharing.

    Good Luck in the Contest!
    Love and Peace, Charlene.
