I lived to see yet another year
It's getting better, not as many tears
I found love and I've met pain
But overall my look on life has changed
I used to believe I was destined to die alone
But here I am, holding your rose
I've escaped the darkness, and I overcame the madness
Through all the hurt and all the sadness
The points now rack up a different score
I've fell in love and I feel so much more
This day feels so much better than the last time
My massacre is over, so will you please be mine
My life actually has a sign of hope
I can breathe now, I no longer have to choke
You came and stole my heart, and gave meaning to my life
I trust you not to rip it apart, and cut it out with a knife
I'm giving you everything, all that I can give
So thank you a lot, for giving me a reason to live
