Nothing hurts me anymore
The pain is numb inside
The more I try to fight it
The less it tries to hide
The silence in my head
Pounding on my walls
Sounds of crying whispers
Is all for me that calls
The breathing in my ear
The smell that still lingers
Warmth that's gone away
Tainted caress of fingers
Death waiting at the tip
Of the tool held in my hand
My thoughts cannot release
They surely would be banned
I close my eyes momentarily
Feel wet drip down my face
This sickening in my stomach
Grows at it's slow pace
As memory slowly fades away
And time escapes my mind
my world goes black with wonder
The reasons why, I try to find.

It seems strange that there is such beauty in this, it is so aching and full of pain! That is a difficult place to take a reader, but you did it. I really liked this..
Excellent write

GREAT
Wow... I can understand the contest finding you suitable. This was a dark and beautiful poem. I felt the sadness, the pain... Well... It's hard to express but your words are beautiful. -
Again the poem I just love too see...
Your soul is beautiful indeed...As memory slowly fades away
And time escapes my mind
my world goes black with wonder
The reasons why, I try to find.
What can be beautiful then this?..
