Walking down lives road
Darkness surrounded me completely
Every step hurt
My heart was covered with a blanket of darkness
My thoughts were equally shaded
My feet were bleeding
Bleeding from wrong paths
My eyes had seen evil
It stung and was now red
When death hung around me
My soul dried out
No future did I see
No future like this did I want
Then a light shone down
Warmth all around
Love sounded
To my feet I rose
The burdens felt within
Were lifted
Towards the light my feet moved
Towards the light which was a comfort
My eyes were dried
My soul refreshed
My feet were soft
Healed my body was a new
My heart filled to the brim
Close the source of light I came
There He was
There was God
God was standing right there
The light of Heaven sacrificed to man
There He was
