I'm lost inside my madness
And I can't escape the pain
The thoughts of taking lives
Is driving me insane
Each time I kill another
I'll say this is the last
But then the voices tell me
To put it in the past
I learned to cover up
The killing sprees I take
Upon their flesh I sup
Their wishes I will take
The cops will never know
Where and how they died
The bodies only show
The pain that I provide
It's like a drug to me
Each time I hear them scream
I shall set them free
And take their hollow dream
I dream of bloody faces
I hear the sounds of hell
Scattered many places
Where only dead may dwell
They may have found a few
But many still remain
The cops don't have a clue
They'll never know my name
Author notes
I just saw a news thing on a serial killer from the 80's and it made me wonder what goes on inside the mind of a killer?
Option #3 Write something from the abusers/killers point of view. About how they felt when they committed the crime if they regret it or not.

WOW!
THIS IS FUCKIN AMAZING! VERY IMPRESSIVE! Nice write, you really got into depth in this one in describing the mind of a serial killer, it makes you kind of feel bad in a way for them.....and i'm pretty sure this REALLY IS how some of them think, in fact, i'm 100% sure. Great write, quite eery

wow this is a very creepy yet insightfull piece of writing. I love how instead of making the killer seem crazy and overcome by anger, you have made it out as if it is an addiction, almost a disease that he cannot control. I love that, it is so twisted and different to how we would normally think of a killer.
The flow of this piece is very natural, almost spine-shilling, it allows me to feel as though I am actually reading a diary or letter that the killer has written to himself/herself.
absolute masterpiece
All the best
Thanks for entering and goodluck

Not too shabby, blue. It could, quite possibly, be what goes on in the mind of a killer, who knows!

Cool persona poem...Nice job!
I love persona poems. I like the flow and quickening pace of this peice. You've turned me onto retourne poems. I thank you for that. Also this poem, along with others is worth making a poem dedicated to persona poems.
Again my mind is lost in awe. Thank you for the alluring captivation you have given me...
I hope your passion lives in you like my poetry lives in me...
Peace and love sweety...

Oooh, me likie! :Bravo:
However dark this is to others, I find it to be so damn intriguing!! Even though it is about a "serial killer," I find that this poem can be applied to many things we tragic humans can be secretly addicted to. Whether it be drugs, men/women, cheating, drinking, masochism, etc, etc.
Excelente!

eww scary! lol.
I like how you've tried to get into a killers mind but I feel it needs a bit more malice and anger in the tone. but other than that, nice idea and good job.

This is a great write. It flows with flaws. I love it darling. You think you are a little psycopath hu, okay. The cops do not know but I do, watch out now, you hear

Expressive
This is mast moving, and conjures a frightening mindset. I don't quite understand the rhyme scheme, it seems to be abab in places, then jumps.
Still it flows well and the image is of a wolf in sheep's clothing. The only thing I miss here is the rage, insatiable wrath that drives them. If by 'voices' you mean urges this is a good portrait. Great work!

Are you trying to tell us something Blue, beware of the blue eyed bombshell?

Definetly gives me the whole Jack the Ripper feeling. Great piece.
Was the serial killer Ted Winston by any chance??
Jailah.
