I sit upon an easy chair wathcing for the ships
Dreaming of my future and adjusting to my hips
Sixty years of Warnings
Savings of disaster
The beacon now reminds me
Of my bodies final work
In reverence to the Lord
And His beacon true
His place of rest is calling
Setting me way apart
Saving souls on their knee
Talking to our God
Depending on my light
To see them pulling through
I've seen the light from Heaven
shining bright on me you see
His voice as the thunder
Many an ocean's night
Has called to me so gently
It's close to time that be
Follow this beacon of my love
Summer's warmth & pure delight
Our Father needs me now
To rise & depend on Him
He graced me with a beacon
Of solid gold and emeralds
Warning the spirit of many
Impending danger there
A bright and shining beacon
Everlasting love
To those who are crying inside
Know My truthful way
Faith holds them now
Seeing My light shine upon them
Knowing it's for them alone
They follow Him forever
To that merciful day
Author notes
God is an everlasting love many times confused in a world of adversity! Keep your eyes and hears focused on the Lord's way.

Beautiful Write
this is just wonderfully written. The lighthouse is our guidance in stormy seas and if it wasn't for his voice and love we would never come through. The message is a wonderful tribute to the ways of God calling us in directions of our lives.I loved the write and was honored to have read it.You have a true hand for the Lord.
God Bless
