Remember when we where little.
Classroom parties,
A day to have fun.
A day to goof off.
Walls covered in pink, white, and red hearts.
Excited to see what your teacher has planned,
You come prepared.
A box covered in shades of red,
With hand cut heart.
A time to create,
You plan to win
Wishing for yours to be the best.
Filling out the cards,
You pick special ones out.
Ones for friends,
And perhaps a crush.
A secretive time,
You drop them in.
Excited to see what you all get
Candies and chocolates,
Decorative cards.
The activities in store,
Brings nothing more,
But cheers and laughter
For all boys and girls.
An art project to keep them busy,
But last of all,
Cookies and juice at the end of the day.
Then sent home on a sugar rush,
You report home to show your mom and dad.
