breathing softly.
I stare into your eyes.
Time slows.
Your eyes tell tales of love,
as you take a step closer.
We're dancing in the moonlight,
for all the world to see.
Just the two of us.
Dancing.
You hold me tighter.
I know what's coming next.
As I gaze
into your beautiful brown eyes,
my heart skips a beat.
You're moving closer now.
Holding me so much tighter.
In your strong arms,
I'm safe from it all.
Our lips meet.
Softly, gently,
we melt together.
Locked in this world,
where time has stopped.
Your lips, so gentle,
pull away slowly.
And you stare into my eyes,
as we reach a common understanding.
Our lips meet again,
all the more passionate.
Your tongue and mine,
dancing like we were,
but moments before.
You pull me closer,
sending a shiver down my spine.
In this moment,
we are locked together
in true love's embrace.
Tongues dancing.
Gentle moonlight.
Time stands still.
As you pull away,
you look deep into my eyes.
And I hear those three little words.
They've never sounded so sweet.
I love you.

Very beautifully done ... I am very impressed with the form and flow of this piece ... what a night that must'a been eh? I love going back and remembering that "first" of anything ... even if that "first" is replayed over and over and over again in the back of your mind ... it's still there ... and that's all that matters ... lovely piece of work ... good luck in the contest ...

To be honest this was kind of boring, I guess because I've read so many poems like this so many times, but it seemed sincere and thats what brings a poem alive. Overall I would give it a 5 out of 10.
