Would You

Would you save me
If I told you
Face to face
I am walking
Down a road
Of self-destruction
And I don't
Wanna head down that
Road.
Would you have the
Guts to stand in
Front of me
And stop me from
Falling to pieces
Before your eyes.
I doubt it.
Would you tell me
I was wrong
And then take
Away my vices
If only for one
Night.
I just need to know
If you will
Be the friend I need
If I keep walking
Down this road
That I see in front of
Me.

good poem, I can relate because I went down a path or road I almost couldn't get out of so I am glad that I could relate to your poem. Keep up the good work

This is great. It has such a powerful point that you have made. We all walk down a road that we know can destroy us. And its nice to know that there are people who will be there for us and not leave when the going get rough. Well done.

I felt that it was really good and could relate alot. I sometimes want to tell people just what's going on inside and where I fear I may be heading. But I'm afraid that they'd either walk away or not understand. Great poem!
