How clever I am
to think you can't see me,
for essence evolves
to lengthen the season
when glance is a glimpse
of heaven to halo.
And I do see you watching,
with something less quaking
than a sound meant to thunder
in following Beauty's
brass bang with a blush,
with such a strong whimper
of beast to believe in.
For wilder will wallow
in deeper well wishing
of woman who waits
for Time's imperfection
in distance divided,
only to laugh
from my distant snow's mountain
in avalanche sending
my noise rushing south
to look in her ocean
for fragrance in mission
of Love's fresh approval.
As I am the queen
of hidden conception
to smile from your throne
with Heart's new perception.

Liked the alliteration used here - glance is a glimpse, the wallow, wishing, waits, brass, bang, blush - very cretive write. Interesting take on the theme of this contest.

{hides better next time}
Sighhh...Ahhh, my Friend...How lovely this penning is, dear Scribe...Gorgeous metaphors, as always...Good luck in the contest, Sweetie...
