1. There are too many love contests held here on AllPoetry.
2. Couples always, intentionally or no, show off the fact that they're in a relationship and others are not.
3. The PDA greatly increases around this time of year.
4. There are pictures of naked babies all over the place.
5. Red and pink are everywhere, and they're not exactly my favorite colors.
6. Everyone gives mushy cards.
7. My school sells carnations, which is a great opportunity to make fun of people (*coughMEcough*).
8. Everyone is always in groups, so I feel left out.
9. Mushy love songs are all that's playing on the radio.
10. I'm single.

I hate the cheap gifts that people sell out of their vans on the corners of streets, usually by gas stations; Cheesy cheap stuffed animals in baskets with WAYYYY too much colored plastic/cellophane wrap! UGH

I don't live in the city, so I don't have those. But I bet it's annoying!

Because I miss my sweet Vivace whose tender, young hands danced so on the valves of his trumpet. How I wish I could be a mute on that trumpet so that I may touch that breath...
Anyway, yeah. I hate Valentine's Day, too. It sucks. And I hate couples who disobey the PDA rule.
