arms of love...

Missing image
Lost in a sea of tranquility's bliss;
Lord it is Thine arms which are holding me.
Feeling the whisper of an angel's kiss,
I'm reminded of all that Thou does see.

When I was lost in a world of pure sin,
'twas Thou lighting Thy path before me.
Thine arms lifted me, in love, pulled me in.
'Twas Thou whose beams which allowed faith's sweet sea.

The dark abyss had begun to swallow,
gnawing on my spirit whilst mocking all.
The soul within had become hard... hollow.
Thou knocked on the door, giving me Thy call.

Whilst I stand, comforted by all Thy love,
I'm lightened by Thy Spirit from above.

Thee knocked on the door, giving me Thine call.
Thou knocked on the door, giving me Thy call.

That would make it perfect !! Good work dear!

    Thee or Thou

When speaking of God, Thou seems most appropriate; Lord, Thou has guided me; to Thy shore." Thee is weaker, more familiar. Both are you, but Thou is more appropriate. My opinion. A fine poem. Good luck inthe contest. Thank you for entering Thy poem! LOL Walt.
