Sojourn for the Soul


Soft strong hues;
grey and very blue,
fog over calm dormant lake
(envisioned..awaited)
This silvery dark mist
starting to blanket
the heavenly liquid body
with a fine thin layer
of cooling ghoulish moss

And in this cover (free at last!)
To be myself, be just me
As the world sees a reflection
hazy distorted; their own (!)
And I'm protected, free as can be
to be, simply, just me!!

Mmm.. well, Its a lil bit weird as I've referred to clashing images of grey with calm, ghoulish with good.. but this is how i see acceptance from my own ppl.. and the 'thank you' is for all my friends, including here on AP. Unknowingly ppl help out each other.. so this ones for all here. Thank you for accepting me the way I am, it helped me see me :-) tk cares~~

    Described very well, the mist and other things.I hope the scene is in Mumbai, in the early morning winter.Each has an image of one self and about others. May be true or may not be true.To pierce the image and learn about one self is great discovery. that sets the tone for everything...Venu

    I love how this made the feeling of a cool lake covered in shadows enter my soul. It has such a calming effect on me, making me feel... I don't know how to describe it. Calm and just generally alright with everything. Very nice. ^_^
