Reflections of Anger

A golden halo surrounds a haven of hope
Despondent and derelict distorted by light.


Who are you?
This monster standing before me,
No remorse for reality repugnant its sight.

Compassion corrupt eroded with time
Perplex the pretence  allowed to preside.
Reflections of youth contorted, confused
Vague the resemblance of love once sublime.

Irrefutable lies irreverent of the pain they may cause,
Ingenious the illusion of intolerant deceit.
A masterpiece of artistry unique in its form,
Creatively callous surely deserved applause.



Alone, my only company lain gently on the floor
Delicate, peaceful a sonnet of prose
Entranced with the captivating beauty they hold
Intoxicating perfume sweet almost polite!
Purity floats upon the petals of each tiny rose.
Colours collide conflicting the scene,
Shattered dreams slice so easily through flesh
Crimson the wine that flowed freely tonight

Congratulations! on a splendid finale.
Au revoir, amour sadly we part
Theatrical your performance, right till the end.

Poeticaly portrayed each sentiment divine

Deeply inhaled laid to rest in my heart
Worthy of the ticket bought with my soul,


Truth hurts, don’t you agree my dear valentine!
