The leaves tremble in the wind's might,
But in their shaking and shivering,
They survive and outlast the winds.
So who is the weak and who the strong?
The leaves in their passive surrender,
Or the wind, insistent in going it's own way, soon diminishing?
We each play both parts,
Because in surrender there can be strength,
And in insistence there can be weakness.

nice
This is very good. I like the truth in it. Especially the "So who is weak and who is strong?" line. You did a great job expressing emotion in this.

This is a very good piece. It does make you think about life and its elements. We sometimes we do play parts depending on the situation we are in at the time.
I enjoyed this very much.

Very thoughtful the lines you write here - does make one thinkj more about both the strong and the weak, the leaders and followers, those who blow hard for a short time - 15 minutes fo glory, and those who keep going with the flow but last a longer time. Because in surrender there can be strength and in insistence there can be weakness. Well thought out poem.
