Ice

I sit and I wonder
What is wrong with me?
Why do I lack humanity?
A person cries and person laughs
They have all emotions in their lives
But I sit inside another world
And these things I do  not have
Emotions do not live here
and I just don’t understand
I do not care I have not loved
Why am I as ice?
I am bitter, and strange
As if from a distant place
Cold, but hold to long
And I will burn your hand
I will melt through fingers
So I can be free
See right through me
Because there is nothing there.

Please tell me what you think

Tia, I think there's more to you than you let on . . . If you're emotionless, why would it matter to you that you are? The poem is good, but could use some refining. Take another look through it, do some proofreading, and maybe reword some things for the sake of rhythm. As usual, your topic is wonderful, and as a random addition that has little to do with your poem, keep in touch.
