Today, my dreams are wilting
Like summer flowers
In a waterless month.
There’s a certain perfume
That never returns
Once the heavenly scent
Has wafted away.
The fragrance of sunlight
In a girl’s hair
Is an intoxicating aroma,
A lovely bouquet
I no longer expect to hold.

a neat write, as always -- full of melancholy and hopelessness, yet still so lovely!

Wonderfully sad, you have certainly cornered the market with this kind of write honey. I especially love the first stanza, beautifully done. Jan

Hmmm... this is an interesting piece, I don't know what to say...
