I'm lost-
Drifting away,
Living a memory.
Avoiding winter's harsh redress
Today.
My mist
Of dreams are sweet-
They let me cherish spring,
Those warm busy days of the past
I miss.
I dance
With my husband.
I play the piano
For all the friends I entertain.
I live.
I'm cold-
Give me my quilt.
This sheet holds out nothing,
I feel the winter fighting me
Again.
Author notes
This is now under the "mists" catagory. I guess it's a loose interpretation, but... oh well.

Lovely, lovely. I really enjoy cinquains and these are great. Some beautiful moments captured in your wonderful words. My favourite of the four is the "I dance" one. It conjures up an image of a happy marriage and good friends. Congrats on a sweet write.
