The beauty surrounding
a person's inner core
cannot stop them from
disappearing.
Sinking into
the pale blue sky
cannot feel as bad
as asking yourself why
Escape into nothing
can help discard blame
and after you're gone
everything seems the same
it truly can help
The throw off reality
you can embrace your tears
and become a memory
yet only one person
may live through the air
pulsing and throbbing
With was is and is not fair
and when another tries
to invade the blue
the one that is there
helps them on through
and so there lives
only one in that space
and only one
sees the moon's other face.
to never die and always live
is not the reason to go
you go to become a memory
and help the winds blow.
My time in this space
has almost gone
for infinity
has almost gone
so please take this sky
I've spent my time here
please take this place
and become the feeling behind the tears...

this is a really great piece! i really enjoy all of the images and pictures that are created from the words that are used and how it works with the picture. there is one line that i thought seemed off the beat "With was is and is not fair" mostly because of the confusion and rhythm. besides that though i think it's great with all of the rhymes and words

Deeper than first glance suggests
I admire your style here. The imagery is almost surreal in places, haunting like the tone. You have made small errors in verses 4 & 5 - TO throw & with WHAT but my overall feeling is of genuine potential and I advise you to carry on writing poetry like this - impressionistic - you definitely have something worthwhile germinating. camus

become the feeling behind the tears...what an imaginative and beautifully sad line. Very poetic. thank you for the entry. glad one of the pics inspired you.
