The tears that stain my cheeks
are a constant reminder
of what I go through
just to be exactly like you
Just to give whats expected of me
Sometimes I wish I could just bleed it all away
Then this face that you see
So somber and weak
Will be the face
That sets my soul free
I don't mean to be how I am
You can't help what you can't understand
Don't try to console the things
That your anger brings
I could never tell you how I feel
This morbid pain that you can't heal
Sometimes I wish I could just bleed it all away
Then this face that you see
So somber and weak
Will be the face
That sets my soul free
Into thyne hands I thrust
My last try to feel and trust
This time its gone to far
From you my feelings I bar
Set me free from this pain and misery
I can't take anymore emotionally
Mental stress is building up now
[I'll let it all go]
Sometimes I wish I could just bleed it all away
Then this face that you see
So somber and weak
Will be the face
That sets my soul free

The wounds which come from emotional stabs are always self inflicted, while it may be true that another wields the knife it is we who places the knife in their grasp. The soul can only be freed by the owner of that soul once you have placed yourself on the highest rung of the ladder then and only then will you find true freedom.

I agree with Elena. This would make a good song. Courageous writing is always the most engaging. Well done.
