ahh .. lucky lucky you. I've just had dinner so I'me very full - but all I get for breakfast is coffee or cereal. School [waking up on time for it] doesn't leave many other options.

All the best and keep writing

Thank for entering your poem. You have penned an interesting word picture on one of my favorite subjects...FOOD...LOL

The first two lines set the scene, time, food and even scent. (I can almost smell the bacon sizzling now.) L1 & L2 are perfectly harmless and innocent until the poem turns at the third line and that dreaded word 'DIET' appears. Then the whole eating vs. healthy eating contrast rears its' ugly head while the bacon and fried eggs is still fresh on the palate. The 'flash in the pan' description is a good way show how quickly a diet can be scuttled.

    Nice job on this one.

Too cute a senyru...and I suppose so long as the diet's up by such a breakfast, we may as well follow this breakfast up with a lunch that includes some chocolate ice cream and high-cal cookies too!

    Sensationally sizzling...?

Mmmm...I want to run off and raid the fridge now. How I LOVE the smell of bacon!

A good entry. Heads I win, tails you lose?!

Lick it up...that's what I say, every last fatty
drop. What's a diet worth when you have the breakfast
of champions staring you in the face
Your Haiku is so yummy, I'm salivating all over
the screen of course it doesn't help that
I'm starving right now. So now I'm off to eat my
    lowfat yogurt and carrots... yuck.
Mr C you are too witty for words laurie.
