Rapist go free it makes me mad
taking away everything you have
They rape your mind, spirit, and soul
youtake these awful memories wherever you go
Three men out on the town for the night
changed me for the rest of my life
This is as close to murder as you will come
rapist are down right scum
Victim is put on trial
as the rapist pleads denial
Victim is slandered and disgraced
rapist watches with a smile upon his face
Women afraid to come forward to report this awful deed
so again rapist go free

Rapist go free every minute in this country and else where. It is a horrible fact. The 3 men who raped me still walk the streets which scares me because they will rape again.

awwwww yea I totally agree what you are saying in this poem... I hate when rapists are set free... my friends lil 6 year old daughter was raped just recently and the judge gave him 20 years to life in prison and then he got 10 years for kidnapping even tho she was just in her back yard but he moved her from her bed... I am just soooooo glad he got what he got and wasnt set free to harm another lil child... very nice poem!!!

i must ask however, i'm assuming you did report all this so why wasn't anyone put in jail? i never reported it only told my parents. i chose not to report anything.

wow. i have to agree with what your saying. i often wrote a lot about my experience. however i did learn to forgive and now i really don't write much about it anymore because i held a lot of anger that i don't have anymore like i use to. your right though, this happens everyday and my man is still out there as well. i know your fear. however i didn't know you suffered through this by 3 men. what you went through is horrible and nothing can ever lessen your pain. i'm glad you have an outlit for your anger and hurt like i had. i hope that you are maybe doing a little better.

I too get very mad that the men who raped me still walk the streets free to do it again to an innocent person. But that is our justice system they put the victim on trial not the rapist!

It pisses me off when things like this happen and women don't come forward to protest. It just *errr*! Well don't be afraid to speak out.
