Solitude

Missing image

Calmness and serenity is what I seek
Feeling the ocean mist upon my face
Watching the white foam rise, fall
then disappear
Gentle breezes caressing  the sails
The openness of the sea feeding
My quest for solitude

    beautiful

from the first warm day in spring, to the last one in fall, I live near the water, and seeks that very solitude...there's a cove where I write at, and there's lighthouses along the horizon...your poem is absolutely beautiful, for those are the things I look for when I go to the water...awesome write...smile and hugs...David

    Natural flow in serenity

Quite serene and blissful in its imagery. It left me with but one word as I read it. "AHHHHHHHHH!"

I like this write. I can relate to the quest very well in my own life's edeavors. It was very soothing to read.

This is quite lovely and so beautifully written. I cherish my solitude every chance I get and linger in its quiet beauty and this poem of yours brought that image back. Enjoyed your words! Smiles, Terry
