The wacky side of me
Complex at times, to my friends I’m loyal, true blue
a zany Aussie shiela that loves to laugh.
I was engaged once but it fell through
still friends, he’d like to stay my other half.
I moved back to Sydney be near my aunt
angelica, who loves me for myself;
She treats me well, she is my confidante
and taught me how to have faith in oneself.
To not let life affect the way I feel;
I have a weird sense of humour
I love to write wacky poems with zeal
I’m not really crazy, ignore the rumour.
I was a wild child and made my Mum so mad
my Dad is great! One Brother to love.
I’m glad I’m in Hugh’s faves, much fun to be had
the contest will close very soon it says above.
Must go now, bye!

Author notes
To put the record straight: angelica is not my real aunt, she adopted me as one, took me in for a few years. She is and old friend of my Mums, and gave me the stability I needed.

You were blessed by the precious hand of Joan. Now I know why you are such an angel. Thanks for sharing that part of your life with us. Rumors? What rumors? LOL This is whimsical. I feel the comedy side of you through these words. A delightful read my friend! I wish you the best in this challenge.
Much Love ♥
Renee

Angelica is cool...you're cool...anyone who puts up with me is cool.

Humor is good, weird humor is better...
You were a wild child? Did you, like, kick kangaroos and stuff? Don't you hate it when people use stupid stereotypes about where you live?
Okay, I kind of like it...you are welcome to call me a Moosehead anytime you like.
Glad to hear you aren't really crazy...then again...you could just be in denial...

Dear Jen,
Wacky? Not exactly!
I think you would be a fun person to know and you've got a great aunt and mentor (your friend, Joan). I love that pic' of you..you look like you're having a good time! Enjoyed your poem..it made me want to read more to see exactly how wacky you can be.

Little snippets of knowing for us to share. Thank you for being real.

This is really good, I feel like I know you better. You have a nice way with rhyme, too. Good luck!

-
Dear Jen,
I'm glad you moved to Sydney
and forsook that feller, Peter.
It's easier on your kidney
and much better for your meter.
It also has improved your rhyme
you have a smoother flow
and you'll have a much better time
now you've let Peter go.
All that you say about yourself
is dinkum straight and true.
You won't get left on any shelf
'coz you're good at massage too!
And now that you have learned your lesson,
I think it's time for our next session.
Good luck in the contest.
With love and hugs from the massage table, XXX
Hugh R.

HAHA you always were wacky
Dear Jen, it was a pleasure having you here with us.
It's a shame it didn't work out with you and Peter, but the right one will come along one day.
Though I don't see your Mum often we have been friends for a long time. Good luck in the contest.
Love Joan
