Flowers in my Hair

Maybe if I wear
Beautiful flowers in my hair
You'll look at me and say,
"My, how beautiful she looks today!"

And maybe we’ll start to talk
And you and I will share our thoughts
On the latest scientific finds
And anything else that comes to mind

And then, maybe, you’ll hold my hand
And we walk with our toes in the sand
And watch the beautiful sun set
And be oh-so-thankful that we’d met

And just perhaps, you will give me a kiss
And I will be in utter bliss
I might find a love so very true
And with none other than wonderful you

So I think I will wear
Beautiful flowers in my hair
So you might finally see
Something beautiful in me
