See the figure stood in the light
As she stares deep at her reflection
Run her fingers through her hair
Brush a hand down a dress of finest silk
Embroidered and beautiful in shocking purple.
See the woman next to her in shadows
Staring through slitted eyes as she watches
Her appearance foul, utterly revolting
She looks with desire in her eyes
Clothed in a plain gown of green.
Now see the lady sat on her throne
Looking on with no interest in the world
She watches it pass by slowly, uncaring,
As she orders others to do as she bids
Garbed in silver and white.
Now see she who rants and rages
Yelling at all she sees, unstoppable,
Cruel she lashes out, scoring deep scrathes
In a servant who happens across her path...
Her face matches her vestment of vivid red.
Another in the room looks on in interest
And grabs all she sees that catches her eye
Bypassing what she considers trivial
She reaches for the glorious riches that
Reflect her - bejewelled and garbed in gold.
Another in the room pays no heed to any
As the servants hurry to her side
She consumes all they present, careless,
And always she reaches for more, her dress,
Stained with that on which she feeds, in black.
Disregarding all others another lies
On a bed of softest down, as she revels
Over all the men who give admiration
Smiling sensually she calls to them
A siren scantly dressed in brightest pink.
The seven sisters all differ greatly
As their own paths through life they make
Although they all share their blood
The resemblance ends there as
The seven deadly sins they make.

Really good! I really like how all the dresses match the sisters and their sins. Very creative. Great poem, good luck in the contest!
