How could he have
left this place?
The tears streaming
down her face

Left her alone,
all alone
No one to take care of her
She sits in the dark

Now that he is gone
The world can’t stop
Just because he is gone
World doesn’t end

She thinks there is no one left
She crawls in her corner
Never coming out
Her life is over.

    Really sad poem. I know its weird but those are the ones that I love. Poems and any writing are only good (in my point of view) if they make you feel. Make your heart cry or laugh or yearn or desire or w/e. You did that with your poem. Great job, thanks for entering, and good luck.

    I'm not overly keen on the wording, and didn't get a good first impression of it, however after thinking about what I have read, it kind of leaves a taste of it in the back of your mind and you think about it, what has happened here, why is this poor woman sat alone in the dark.
    But yeah, it's good.
