library-hushed and hidden,
mothered by ribbon and
creamy paper; numbed by
water color’s ebbing tide,
mirror imaged face-paint
dangles spread-eagled,
from strings of woven secrets,
hands full of alizarin,
paper cuts,
silence.
Author notes

you like saying 'spread eagled' don't you? Ha ha. And 'flurries', I noticed earlier. I have a cat named Flurry. Uhm.. anyway... you rock!

Uh-huh, because I'm trying to get away from the 'screams' and 'angels' I usually write about. Or used too.
