Heart of darkness
Black hole
Heard it all before
Cannot laugh, cannot cry
Numbness spreads
First from the heart, into the lungs
Paralyzed, yet holding no fear
Novocaine, destroyer of emotion
No dark tunnel, no beacon of light
Drawing away from the world
Hiding from the mocking embrace
Nothing, nothing, falling
Eternal abyss, endless dark
Scent of life, holding no meaning
Scent of death, it's all in vain
No place in heaven
And none in hell
Stuck somewhere in between
Where paradise and misery collide
There is no happiness in life
And no love in death

Um... it's a work in progress??? it started out okay, but it lost it's momentum. Suggestions? I'll probably add to it.
