Here we are
once again
sitting across from each other
neither of us speaking
I want to tell you
that I'm sorry
but my stupid courage
won't let me
I was so sorry
for how I treated you
when you needed me most
I just have to let you know
that I DO care
that I DO want your friendship
that I have cherished your love
and yet where was I when you needed me?
not there for you
yet expecting for you to be there for me
I am sorry for the silence between us
and i hope it will end soon
because I Do love you
with everything in me

Ooh, I love the mood of silence you chose for this one. I can relate to that painful feeling very much. An apology or forgiveness lingering in the air and that painful moment as we wait for it.
Great job and best of luck in my contest. -
