His Presence

Missing image
Bent down in humility
Arms raised in supplication
I feel His presence upon me
Calming, answering my soul

Debilynn, "bent down" and with "arms raised" you caught the spiritual position perfectly here. Truly a golden write.

Wow! So exquisitely beautiful and serene and filled with our Father's presence. Great job. I love the line "I feel his presence on me, Calming, answering my soul." The Lord does answer our souls. He is cool water to my parched mouth, food to a hungry heart and more love than I can image. Grat Job.

This is very uplifting and comforting. Seems your words always find me to touch me when I need them most. Nice to feel that I am not here alone and that he is comforting me even when I am angry at the turmoil he has thrown to me. Well written and powerful in just a few lines. Your pen speaks volumes. This works well...

...with the photo. I'm intrigued at how the first two lines are put together with the last two. It is true how we get fellowship with the Lord by having the right heart towards Him.

So much is said in so little.

    Words of Vision...

I can see clearly the correlation between the poetry and the image. You caught the spirit of this in so few words. Very beautifully written and envisioned.
    Best of luck to you!
