she was given up as a mother
for beleiving in the dead
and speaking in riddles and nightmares
mocking men with suites and ties
for going to church and beating
their wives- a feminist with
a tongue who could bake- she gave
all she had and they kept all
they could take- but her fingers
were sore from shoving them in
her ears- and her body was broken
from being kicked on her knees
oh you actlike it's not common
the petty would jump on her tail
and you want me to be common
giving me all sorts of bad mail
want me to be just like you
and they stoned her in the park
drinking coolaid with their kids
on red bicycles screaming-tart!
she's a witch ,she's a bitch!
and they put her in therapy
to see her float on the water
took her months in shock therapy
to look just like her father
