Love a lick of blood,
borne from heated hearts,-
And surely sense it makes,
in the coveted copper taste,
of tempting trails of blood.
Pennies persuade our senses.
Slickly sickly sweet,
The tantalizing taste of money
makes magic in our veins.
Success spills from those fallen.

You use alliteration brilliantly and again, I really enjoy your short pieces (I love the long ones too though)!

I like writing smaller poems, because people can't complain I'm rambling. Do you need more points, by the way?

This is certainly different Lindsay. I love the alliterations you have used. They truly just roll off the tongue when read. Just from the few pieces I have read from you, your talent appears to be growing quite rapidly.
Well Done!
