Your were pink and cute when you were born when I was given to you
I watched over you while you slept and kept the bad dreams away
You drooled on me but i didnt mind you were mine
When you started to crawl I helped you slide across the floor
WHen you took your first steps I cushioned your fall
You went away to school and forgot about me
I watched you play with your other toys while I sat on the shelf
When you started highschool you called me childish and put me in a box
I hoped one day you would remember me
You packed for college and found me and hugged me tight
Then you left I and I waited till you came back
You came back with a boy who thought i was raggady and old
You hugged me tight and told me that you loved me on your wedding day
Then you took me to the hospital the one you were born in
You gave me to your son and told him I was your First Teddy Bear
And now would be His
