At the dinner table
eight places are set
One for me of course
but the others are
not filled yet.
On my left hand side
there sits my good friend
Pride. He tells me that
he has accomplished much
and yet he seems so lonely.
On my right hand side
there is my unshakable
follower, Lust. However, I
think he's leaving me for Gluttony.
Greed and Envy both will beside of lust.
Greed with everything anyone
could want. Envy, with hair died
green wanting everything of hers.
Anger and Gluttony have never gotten along,
so betwixt the two sits good ol' Sloth.
Sloth doesn't mind as long as Gluttony leaves
his food alone. If he moves then Anger gets
to move on in. This is the dinner table
set for eight. Now my companions are known
and I am late.

I liked the whole idea and I wuffed it. You're an awesome poet!
Greed and Envy both will beside of lust.
Greed with everything anyone
could want. Envy, with hair died
green wanting everything of hers.

this is a good poem. I hope that you are trying to stay away from the deadly seven.

hey,
This is well portrayed, I like how you kept it in first person point of view, your decription of all seven was very well done. this is a nice piece
good job and good luck!!! -
very good
it gives a very accurate scene of how a dinner party with the 7 would go if they got together
