As she walks and sashays by
she is sizzling in sight
her skin burns at the touch
and fire is the essence of her being
Her gaze burns away any pretense
leaving you pooling in heat
sending subtle heat your way
but if you wrong her
be prepared for her fury
the blaze that will consume
everything in its path
Like the fire
her emotions are wild
can go from a small flame
to a blaze in seconds
take care in what you do and say
because you never know
what this woman borne of fire will do

I enjoyed this. Though it took me a few reads to get used to how your poetry flows. Best of luck in my contest.

WOW. I really liked this...
I didn't see any picture, nor do I care to... because this piece was GREAT. I could see this being a story, a very powerful story or film... and I really appreciate this...
Captivating.

sizzling in sight--great line. I think that you manage to approach this topic in a new way, which I like. I wonder if you mean woman "born" of fire, though, instead of "borne?"

This is wonderfully written and goes with the pic so well. The wording and the visual that they give are tremendous. A great write. Good luck in this contest.

I don't see the picture that inspired the write but I am getting the impression that this little Lady is hot, hot, hot!! It's a sultry poem with strong images that emphasize the character of the woman. Wow!
