I don't want to know,
where the other road goes.
I'd rather wish it away,
and let the memory fade.
But I can't do that.
So the memory remains.
This is where I'm at,
Standing inside the flames.
I don't want be
another faded dream,
and I'm trying to be strong,
but I face this world alone.
But I can't do that,
because the memory remains.
So this is where I'm at,
Standing inside the flames.
Give me away
to the one who makes me fade,
I want to let go again.
Give me a way
to make it through the day,
I want to feel life again.
But I can't do that,
So the memory remains.
This is where I'm at,
Standing inside the flames.
Standing inside the flames.

Wow, I just saw the video of the song. The music is awesome and the lyrics are really good. You amaze me Brian. Excellent job. You are so good. And I loved how you played guitar by the way. You are definitely talented. Keep using that talent and you will get to great places.

I really like this! The rhyme scheme is very nice. My favorite part is "So the memory remains.
This is where I'm at,
Standing inside the flames"

Bryan,
not one to read lyrics, as they tend to be extremely different form conventional poetry, but this had a certain rythm to it that I could imagine would work well to music. Also the line lengths seemed to fit well the structure of a song, and the language was easy to get off the tongue, key in singing. Great job.

Scientists say that in the center of the fire, there is cold. Tell me then, are the flames cold or warm?
