The tears are not yet here, but they will come for me
They will try to drown me in that which is Sorrow.
Yes, they will try to come for me.
Greatness is only a minute away
Beautiful, dawnting in its time for fleeting moments.
To know it to happen can be the greatest curse.
What with that sadness burning deep inside, deeper than it could ever go.
Forever lost in the dreams of pain and living the good life.
What devistation can be wrought in the making of this injustice.
What child will know no more pain than that of loss.
Why does it have to end like this?
The tears are closer now, but they will not come
WHat with all the shicking dilemas in all that is pure and simple.
Where does all the flowers go when they begin to untended.
Nurturing, lovely, simple, and complex
Given into pain and anger, turning it all into utter despair.
Taking away that which was beautiful
Taking away that which was true
So true in love that preceeded it
So volitale in nature.
Its so unlike this feeling
So unlike the love of it.
it's full of the grief that was so heart wrenching
So painful that it had to be taken away
Painful that it ended it all of its own
Oh my, the tears have come.
Please tell me what you think

Second stanza, second line. "Dawnting" should be "daunting".
I guess in the end, our tears are what heals us. In so many ways, they give us a new view. Not to mention, our tears are ALWAYS going to come.
Excellent piece.

Wonderful!
Wonderfully written. The sorrow is clear. The pain is more so. Wonderfully put together, there is nothing more that needs to change. You took great care to put great detail into your words, and I cant tell you enough how well it was witten. I have read it three times now, and before I go, Im sure I will read one more. Wonderfully!

oh, what sorrow...and what a clear way of expressing it...sad poetry is eaisly brought out of the poetic and into the pathetic, but you have doen a good job here...my favorite lines out of this are
"Greatness is only a minute away
Beautiful, dawnting in its time for fleeting moments.
To know it to happen can be the greatest curse."
its says so much with just a few words...thank you for sharing your sorrow

Superb/sad/comforting
Very well done considering the sorrow you have experienced. i wouldn't correct a thing, even the few spelling errors add authenticity to the feelings you are expressing here. Thanks for sharing this with us.
